I've been playing around with some layout developments for the publication in response to the research I gathered earlier on in the day. At the moment I'm just thinking about image & type reltaionships, and how to tie that together functionally with my chosen typeface, and my icon I have developed.
The labelling is working really nicely and the image really sits comfortably on the page I think. I'm starting to get a really clear Idea of how this book will look. I mean its early days yet in terms of layout, I just felt like I needed to do something that reflects my plans for the tutorial tomorrow. Dont get me wrong either typefiends, theres a lot that can be done with this layout!
I think its neccessary to get these printed out and thake them to the boys who know their type. namely, Ross!
