The difference in duotone gives this artist his own seperate identity but because the overall product is branded with the alius logo, it keeps the overall identity uniform, as does the selected imagery. This is my favourite out of the set because of how well the images came out. I just made sure the camera was set to take images at 300 dpi on the macro setting. People in the studio have said that these sleeves have got an old school look, which is what I was intending to achieve in referance to roots music. (Hence the images of trees and organic wood textures.) I had a slight problem with assembling the 7 inch sleeves because they wouldnt sit flat , I overcame this by putting the assembled sleeves through the press we have up in the studio and then buying protective plastic cases to keep them flat. The weight of the record also helps to keep the sleeve flat.
I put up an image of the 12 inch sleeve's back panel to show how I have distributed space differently to compensate for the size of the sleeve. I'm really happy that the type has printed so clear since the print run in the digital dungeon.
