I thought It would be a good idea to make a myspace that could link out to a website as a promotional tool. This would also be really easy to do using facebook.
The logo is the display picture and the profile page has a few sampler tracks that would change in conjunction to what was out on new release on the record label at the time to give the audience a peek into what is on the website currently.
One of the important parts for the myspace promotional aspect is the image gallery. This would be updated with new relases every time one came out and was ready for distribution. The iage captions will give the audience important information about :
- Where the release is available - for example on the Compilation CD gallery it says the disc is only available on the website, and not available through iTunes also like the other releases, Making the audiene start buying from the website because of the limited edition collector's aspect of it.
- Who its by
- Track listing
- Record size and RPM
